Hi everyone...........................
Unwanted hair is a major problem for all girls/ladies.......
Waxing is the best way to get rid of unwanted body hair according ot me...But sometimes we just don't have enough time to go to a salon. For such times hair removal creams come to my rescue..... :)
So, today im going to review the hair removal cream that i am using these days i.e., Veet's Lotus Milk and Jasmine Fragrance Hair Removal Cream..............
Cost: Rs.42 for 25g
Shelf Life: 3 years from manufacture date
Ingredient List: Aqua, Urea, Potassium Thioglycolate, Paraffinum Liquidum, Cetearyl Alcohol, Calcium Hydroxide, Talc, Cetereath-20, Glycerin, Parfum, Magnesium Trisilicate, Potassium Hydroxide, CL 77891, Propylene Glycol, Lithium Sodium Magnesium Silicate, Lotus Flower Milk, Acrylats Copolymer, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil, Sodium Gluconate, Hydrated Silica, Cl 45380
Variants Available:
My Experience: This cream claims to remove your hair in 3 minutes and it does live up to that claim... The cream is thick in texture and is light pink in color. It spreads really easily with the help of the spatula which is provided with the pack. All you have to do is spread the cream all over the area from where you want to remove the hair.. Then u have to wait for 3 minutes (5 mins if u have thick/coarse body hair)... You will start to see the hair melting away... After this remove the cream with the help of the spatula.. The unwanted hair will also get removed along with the cream... The thing i hate the most about this cream is it's smell...The smell is totally disgusting and in order to get rid of the smell u have to wash that area about 3-4 times.. Also, this cream contains lots n lots of chemicals so i don't think it is something which should be used regularly. I usually use hair removal creams for my under arm area as getting it waxed is extremely painful. I have heard people say that using these creams causes that area to become black but personally i have not faced any such problems till date.
As u can see in the pic, the cream comes in a nice pink colored tube which has a removable cap.
A spatula is provided along with the tube. The spatula makes the application and removal of the cream very easy
The cream is thick and is slightly pink in color....Put the cream on the desired area and spread it with the help of the spatula...After 3-5mins remove the cream with the help of the spatula head.
Summing up the Pros and Cons:
Pros:
1. Quick and painless method of hair removal
2. I did not experience any skin irritation or burning sensation on my skin.. (but make sure
to read all the instructions given on the pack and do a patch test before u use this cream.)
3. Travel friendly packaging.
4. You dont need to go to a beauty salon to get ur hair removed...You can easily use this
cream at home..
Cons:
1. Contains lots of chemicals.
2. May cause skin irritation if it doesn't suit ur skin (be sure to perform a patch test before
using this cream. )
3. The smell is disgusting
Overall, this is a good cream to get rid of unwanted hair if u don't have time to salon.... I will be buying the supreme essence one next time.... Have heard that it doesn't smell very bad... :)
Hope this review helped.... :)
