VLCC Liquorice Cold Cream

Hey people..........................

Today I will be reviewing my most favorite cold cream these days....

It is VLCC's Liquorice Cold Cream....

Cost: Rs. 110 for 50g

What the Company Claims &  Ingredient List

My experience: The first thing I love about this cream is its smell.....It smells like fresh roses.... :D
This cream is totally non sticky and leaves you feeling fresh and moisturized for hours....It contains liquorice which claims to lighten skin tone but I didn't see much difference in that and neither did I buy it for skin lightening...I bought it to keep my skin hydrated and this cream certainly does that...It contains Vitamin E which is also very good for the skin. If you check the ingredient list it claims to contain lots of natural substances and very little chemicals which I love..VLCC is among one of my favorite natural brands.

Pros:
1. It's smell is divine...
2. Non - sticky and keeps skin hydrated for 3-4 hours.
3. Very inexpensive
4. Contains lots of natural ingredients (less chemicals, less harm :D  )
5. VLCC claims that it doesn't test on animals
6. Easily available

Cons:
None that I can think of.

Final Verdict: Currently this is my favorite cold cream and I suggest all the beauties out there to give this a try...It surely is a winner for me.... I'll give it a 4.5/5

I will certainly be repurchasing this till I find something better.....

VLCC Glow + Sun Block Lotion Review

Hi everyone.....................
Hope ur having a great day...........

Today im going to review VLCC Glow Sun Block Lotion with Sandalwood Extracts( SPF 20) ....

Cost: Rs.99 for 80 ml

Shelf Life: 36 months from manufacture

What the company claims: Over exposure to harmful UVA and UVB rays of the sun is responsible for skin darkening and ageing.
VLCC Glow + Sun Block Lotion with SPF 20 and PA++ provides complete protection from both UVA and UVB rays of the sun.Enriched with the goodness of Sandalwood extract, it provides a healthy glow to the skin.

Ingredient List: Sandalwood Extract, Saffron Extract, Wheat Germ Oil, Zinc Oxide, Aloe Vera Extract, Water, Melon Extract.

My Experience: I love this sun block and use it whenever i go out.It smells of sandalwood and is quite effective in preventing tanning of the skin. The lotion has a nice creamy texture which leaves the skin smooth and easily gets absorbed into the skin.Another great point about this product is that  VLCC does not test on animals hence this product is cruelty free........
The thing which i did not like was that when applied to the face it does give a slight oily feeling, but till date i have not come across any sun block which doesn't do that (even Neutrogena's Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock SPF 55, of which ive read great reviews everywhere has the same effect on the face.)
The company claims that it will provide a glow to the skin but i didn't see that happening.

Summing up the Pros and Cons:

Pros:
1.It does what it claims i.e., helps prevent tanning.
2.It has a very nice smell (of sandalwood).
3.It has a large number of natural ingredients as compared to chemical ingredients.
4.VLCC does not test on animals.

Cons:
1.It makes the face a bit oily on application.
2.Does not provide any glow to the skin as claimed by the company.(But i wasn't expecting that to happen..i  just don't wanna get tanned when in the sun and this did help in that :D  )

Hello everyone.....

I have slight puffiness and dark circles around my eyes....So i keep on trying different products to try to get rid of them....
Today im going to review my latest purchase...VLCC Almond Under Eye Cream.....

Cost: Rs. 175 for 15ml.

What the Company Claims : This unique light formulation with the goodness of Almond & Wheatgerm, Nourishes & mousturises the under eye area, firms tones skin. The natural active ingredients in this cream help in reducing signs of fatigue & stress.

Key Ingredients: Chamomile Extract, Wheatgerm Oil, Almond Oil, Olive Oil, Vitamin E, Dimethicone, D-panthenol.

Method Of use (As written on the box) : Apply appropriate amount from the inside of the eye contour to the outside.Gently massage the eye contour area with your ring finger.Suits all skin types....and itz written to use it twice daily for best results...

My Experience: I have been using this cream for around a month now and have not seen any drastic reduction in my dark circles or puffiness. However it does mousturize the under eye area very well and hence helps prevent fine lines. I keep the tub in the fridge so the cream is slightly cold when i apply it.It gives a nice soothing feeling. And the smell of this cream is simply heavenly....i jus love the smell... :)

It has a very thick creamy texture as u can see in the pic...A very little amount is required for both eyes...i use it on my eye lids too..it gives a very soothing feeling... :)

Summing up the pros and cons:

Pros:
1. Very little amount is required hence the tub will last around 2-3 months...
2. It makes the under eye area feel smooth and hydrated.
3. Helps prevent fine lines.
4. The smell is very nice.
5. VLCC does not test on animals.

Cons:
1.Doesnt deliver what it claims.I have not seen any reduction in my dark circles or puffiness in the last month.
2.Tub packaging is kind of unhygenic.

Overall i wud not recommend this to anyone who wants to get rid of puffiness or severe dark circles..... If u have fine lines and slight darkness under the eyes u can give it a try.....and fr people who want to use an eye cream for prevention of fine lines....this will work well for u guys...

Hope this review helped.... :)
