Himalaya's Protecting Neem & Turmeric Soap Review

Hey everyone.................
Did u know that the soaps that u use might have been tested on animals or may contain animal fat...Yep u heard me right most soaps in the market these days are tested on animals and contain animal fat as the base of the soap (like Dove, Lux, Axe, Olay, etc.)
Today im going to review Himalaya Herbals Protecting Neem & Turmeric Soap whixh is totally herbal and cruelty free.

Cost: Rs.20 for 75g

Shelf Life: 3 years

What the company claims: Neem and Turmeric is an effective combination of herbs that cleanses oily skin and removes impurities.Lemon refreshes your skin, leaving it healthy and fresh.

Ingredient list: Sodium Palmate and Sodium Palm Kernelate, Fragrance, Aqua, Glycerine, Cl 77288, Tetrasoduim EDTA, Melia Azadiracha Seed Oil, Tetradibutyl Pentaerithrityl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel oil, Curcuma Longa(Turmeric) Root oil.
Soap Base made from Vegetable Origin

My Experience:
  •  I really like this soap.It smells strongly of neem and lemon and that smell lingers on you after taking a bath atleast for 2 hours.
  • It is a "pure" soap as it is neither tested on animals nor does it conatain any animal produts( like animal fat).
  • It contains neem and turmeric which have antiseptic properties and are really good for the skin.
  • The bar does not melt away and is pretty solid.

Other available Himalaya Soaps are:
     Himalaya Refreshing Cucumber soap
Himalaya Nourishing Cream & Honey soap
     Himalaya Moisturizing Almond soap
Pic of the soap cover and bar:

Summing up the Pros and Cons:

3.It is not costly (jus Rs.20 for 75g ans Rs 30 for 125 gm).

  1. This soap did not work for me it may for others but it did not work for me. I have super oily face and it completely dried my face out left me feeling tight and with flakes on my forehead which took two days to clear thanks to a homemade honey and avocado mask. I tried it as a bath soap same thing though no flakes but my skin was very dry and tight i will not be using it again

    1. Oh....Thtz terrible.... :(
It worked quite well for me...but i didn't use it on my face so i cant say anythng about tht part....
